I have been in the service industry all of my work life. I began on the selling floor at JC Penney while still in high school. Here I learned the most valuable of all lessons I would learn over the years. Mr. James Cash Penney said, "Treat Every Customer As You Would Like To Be Treated!", the Golden Rule would be my mantra throughout all of my customer interactions from then on! From the selling floor in high school to an Executive Manager at Macy's, as my final retails sales position, I had a stellar career and was an award-winning sales manager. In that time I built long-lasting customer relationships, trained and promoted my own staff, traveled the country teaching customer service setting other stores up for success. Retail was the love of my life until the inception of internet sales and the subsequent demise of my industry. As shoppers turned to online buying sales in stores were on the decline but not in my stores! I continued to have success because of the relationships I had formed with my clientele. My problem was, I could not maintain the same level of service that I had become accustomed to giving! Feeling defeated in the lackluster environment that retail provided for shoppers I found myself at a crossroads and in need of a career change where I could utilize my skill set of excellence in customer service and business building. It was just then that my then-boyfriend and now-husband who had been a licensed agent since 1997 suggested that I give insurance a go sighting "You Would Be Great At This With Your Level Of Service & Attention To Detail!"

As a Wisconsin Licensed Property & Casualty Insurance Agent, I was able to make the transition with ease. I enjoy getting to know my customers, utilizing my background of training to educate them on exactly what they are paying for and need. You see, in today's insurance world insurance companies would like their customers to believe that they can name their own price, build their own policy online, and only pay for what they use. The problem with this is it leaves the insurance consumer on the hook for everything that was not covered by the policy they wrote themselves because they are not educated in the changing world of insurance like licensed agents are!

In 2016, I opened my independent insurance agency The WIN Group Insurance Agency. I did this with the customer in the forefront of my mind. I wanted to provide Wisconsin residents with an alternative way to purchase their insurance. I wanted to be able to service many different types of customers and the only way to do that is by being independent and having a variety of carriers with different appetites! I have continued on with my origins of Treating Customers Like I Would Want To Be Treated as it has always served me well. I love to work with people building relationships so that I can help them as their needs change.

It is my belief that the greatest compliment an insurance agent can receive is a referral of a friend or family member! This says to me "I not only trust my agent but I love her so much that I want her to protect my friend/family member too!" I have built my agency through the referral business only! I always want everyone who comes to us to be treated like family because to me you are family!
